I know that spending money is usually not the best way to save money. My wife is a habitual coupon clipper, and she frequently proclaims “I saved $xx today!” To which I usually reply “But you had to spend $xxx so you didn’t really ‘save‘ anything.” Now that I think about it maybe this is why she never buys the stuff I ask for… (more…)
